At Plastisol Products, we have the capacity to rapidly turn around large projects within narrow timeframes, and this project represents something we do here on a regular basis. We powder coated 100,000 of the support rods highlighted here in two business days. Used in a point-of-purchase display, they featured steel construction with overall dimensions of 10″ in length and 0.25″ in diameter.

Washed and dried to ensure the surfaces were free of contaminants, we masked off the end prior to the application of a 3-5 mil sky white powder coated finish. Tight process controls ensured a consistent and uniform thickness over the entire lot. Our test and inspection processes verified the mil thickness, and the brackets scored a 50 on the MEK rub test and 3H on pencil hardness, exactly to customer specification. Further testing validated that the coating would not crack or peel when the hooks were flexed, this ensured maximum performance and durability on the retail sales floor.
