We powder coated the back seat support pictured here for a customer in the construction equipment industry., it was designed for use Measuring 18″ in length x 30″ in width x .375″ in thickness in a large crane. After proper surface preparation, we masked the assembly holes to ensure no powder would infiltrate, then applied a 4-6 mil Midnight Black Wrinkle finish cured at oven temperature stabilized between 400°F – 420°F. We tracked every detail, from surface preparation to spray duration to cure time, to guarantee a repeatable outcome over all 1200 units in this order. Mil thickness and MEK rub tests ensured we satisfied the customer requirements in terms of quality and performance.

The wrinkled texture finish provided an added visual appeal, while the coating thickness and cure maximized resistance to abrasion and wear under tough jobsite conditions. We completed this job within a 48 hour window.
